@Ctoo don’t be afraid to ask lots and lots of questions. I refused Letrozole after extensive research and discussion with 3 specialists. When asked directly whether in my particular case they could hand on heart say that the benefit would outweigh the likely negative impact on my quality of life they each said no. So I said no. And they were fine with that. But if I hadn’t said anything they just would have given it to me per what I like to call ‘the abundance of caution’ protocol (aka covering your arse in advance to mitigate any future negligence claim). It’s your choice. Be informed and do what’s right for you. I also read somewhere that Letrozole is supposed to be for post-menopausal women so I’m not even sure why it was ever suggested in my case? I wonder if they just assumed chemo triggered menopause and so never even bothered to ask?
