Hello Romla, thank you for reaching out to me. I am from country Victoria, I am starting my hormone therapy next week, I still have reconstructive surgery to go, I did have a bilateral mastectomy and immediate TUG flap reconstruction in October last year. Unfortunately I had many complications and infection, so the reconstruction as a result is not what is should be and has taken me 6 months for all incisions to resolve. I am not yet back at work, I have ongoing problems with nerve pain in my legs.
I have completed Chemotherapy and Radiation.
The few times I have reached out the the ladies on the BCNA site, it has helped me immensely.
I am a very private person and find it hard to speak to others about this process, but I have gained quite a lot of information and support from all.
