Hi @Cafrini60. I am one of the ones who is having a difficult time of it on Letrozole. However there are plenty who do not. It can depend somewhat on whether you have already gone through menopause, as the plunge in your estrogen levels won't be quite as severe if you have. If you find you can't manage Letrozole you can try one of the other AIs, and the oncologists generally seem OK with taking drug holidays. They know drop out rates are high so are happy for us to take a break every now and then.
There are no easy answers. This medicine is currently the best we have to combat recurrence in ER+ cancers. I'm gritting my teeth and continuing to take it. I hope you are one of the people who have no problems on it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. K xox
