@iserbrown - I didn’t think of the fact that the side effects may reduce with time, that is so encouraging. I am only 10% ER+ but the oncologist feels that these tablets will still be useful for me. She has said 5 years but as you said that may change.
@Wonk - I am sorry to hear you had all those side effects on the other tablets. I also have osteopenia and that will be monitored yearly. I think I will stick with Letrozole for now and find ways to deal with the dizziness. As mentioned by @iserbrown, I might take stemetil when the dizziness is bad. I really hope I can go back to work soon. I have been on leave since September last year when I was diagnosed and given that I turn 60 this year I may not have too many working years left.
@Blossom1961 - I did ask the oncologist about herceptin but she dismissed that as well. I have been on herceptin for 6 months so I feel that the culprit is more likely to be letrozole.
