Hi Leslie,
I didn't have FEC, but had TC instead. The take home advice I received from my oncologist was, to take all the medications prescribed, even if I didn't think I needed them. He said it is easier to prevent the nausea, than to cure it. I also experienced the aches and pains on days 4-6. The oncologist said to start taking panadol at the first sign of a twinge and keep taking it 4 hourly till the aches went away. It worked well for me, and my side effects were not too bad. I found a combination of things that worked, and used this regime each time. I also wrote down what tablets I took, the time and the symptom, and how it worked. It will give you an idea for your next cycle of what to do before synptoms get too bad. Good luck.
Love Chris xx
