Thanks Karen. All went well. Now the wait for results
Oh yes, always be your own advocate. Glad the relief settling in.

Hi Rowdy
i wish there were some strategies for dealing with the stress, anxiety and fear we go through. I can do all the self talk and appear calm on the outside but I don't sleep well, am teary and agitated. You know it is there in the back of you mind at the very least. Oh well onwards and upwards. Xox
Hi Karen, very relieved and happy for you that the lesion was ok but I can understand your anger at having to go through so much stress and worry because someone wasn't doing their job properly.
I doubt anyone who hasn't been in our position understands just how quickly and deeply we can descend into a state of panic. I'm hoping that this will ease for me too as time goes on but it still doesn't take much for me to think the worst and although the fairly constant checks etc are necessary they do dredge up so much anxiety and fear.
Here's hoping your next lot of tests are worry free - you definitely deserve a break. Jane xx
Thanks Paula,
today I'm just relieved. It's just goes to show though that mistakes do get made so on the other side of the coin, if we think something isn't right then we need to persist. Xox
All the best for today Lyn. I'll be thinking of you xox
Hi Karen,
Firstly YAY that it is nothing, and doing a happy dance for you.
However I feel your anger and frustration. It is such a worrying time. I am going to see my Dr next week to ask for both reports form my ultrasound and then the cat scan. I only had four days of worrying, can't imagine two weeks of it.
Much love to you.

Hi Karen, I feel like all I can do is send a big hug your way. What an awful couple of weeks for you and your family. I'm glad that it's all ok, though. I'll take some deep breaths with you. I finally have surgery tomorrow after finishing six cycles of chemo just over 3 weeks ago ??
Take care, Lyn
Hi Karen it is good that you are ok, but it is bad when someone makes such a mistake. The stress is terrible every time I have a new pain the doubts creep in. I don't cope as well with the unknown anymore. Sometimes I have to sit myself down and tell myself to stop worrying.
Take a deep breath and breathe, go and do something nice for yourself and your family, even if it is a big group hug, sometimes that's all we need Take carexx
