After 7 and a half months of being cut open, poked, proded, pricked, scanned, infused and zapped, feeling like crap, tired, hair loss, weight gain, sore and red, taking this and that, it is finally over. Don't know whether to laugh or cry, might do both. One thing is certain going to have a drink tonight.

Congrats Renata! I had number 2 of 16 cycles today. But I can see light at the end of the tunnel even though the end of the tunnel is the 14th Dec!

Thanks everyone. Had a lovely evening out with friends and enjoyed a champagne with a yummy meal, though I ate too much. This is what life is all about and I hope to be doing it much more.

Good luck with your radiation, Mel. It is a little unpleasant but is nothing compared to chemo. I will be looking forward to hearing that you have finished your treatment too.

That's great news Renata!! I have finished my chemo and am about to start radiation. I feel like my life has been on hold for sooo long. YOu must feel so relieved! Keep positive Renata and enjoy that drink!
