Latissimus dorsi flap

Hi Pink Ladies,

I have had a latissimus dorsi flap to reconstruct my right breast. I have not heard from any others who have had this and although i am very pleased with my new breast and not complaining, I would just like to compare my experiences with someone else who has had the same operation.

just a few comments here, i am experiencing slight cramping in my back along the scar, particulary when i get cold. I am trying to improve my upper body strength with exercises, but it seems one step forward and two back

after a flu shot the other day, my whole right side felt swollen with fluid - it took me 4 days to get back to the gym.

is there any one out there with experinece of this Op?

    Hi Mandy, There is a group on here called breast reconstruction group. Am sure there will be others on there. I belong to the group but am yet to have my surgery. I will be having the same as you. Love & hugs Paula xx
