Latest CT
Hi all,
I hope everyone is as well as can be expected! I had a CT scan last week and 3 days later saw the oncologist for the results and things have started to increase 3mm but she did say not to p...
I know how you feel with getting scan results like that...it's so easy to go in to panic mode and think the worst! I guess all we can do is have faith in our treatment team, that they know what they're doing and will modify any treatment if the cancer becomes resistant.
I also take Caltrate Plus for calcium increase (I am HER2+ and ER/PR+ too). I had high calcium levels to start with, but they dropped too so now I take CP to regulate my levels and protect my bones. Perhaps it is the treatment that causes this decrease in calcium, not necesarily the disease?
I hope you are feeling a bit better since you got your results Sue. It can be a bit of a shock and send you into a tail-spin I know, but I'm sure your treatment team will keep a good eye on you. Don't forget to ask as many questions as you need to at your next onc appointment too!
