As I understand it, it is not an issue of clear margins with lymph nodes. It is the number of nodes that were found to contain cancer even though they have been removed. Any more than 1 and radiotherapy gives a better chance of the cancer not returning. Did you have cancer in more than 1 lymph node? Deanne
