LAST ROUND OF CHEMO - Hit the Road Jo and Don't You Come Back No More!!
Here comes my last round of Paclitaxel today and my last round EVER of CHEMO. I am ringing that bell today and I am going to sing a bit of an Ode to Chemo as I do it with a few lines from Pat Benetar's HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT!

Going to see if my lovely Cancer Clinic Team will sing me off with:

I've made a really nice basket up for them with handmade soaps and treats, teas, hand
creams and flowers. Heading off down to a place called Nannup which is in the forest down here in SW West Australia....commune with nature and my family for the weekend.

- Thanks ladies. It is a milestone that’s for sure. Not sure what we are doing not in a position financially to do anything too fancy. We were married when we were 21 and it feels like such a long time ago now and one Im very grateful to be around to enjoy it with him. He was th one who pushed me to have my yearly mammogram and I was late the year I was diagnosed due to focusing on his brother travelling back and forth to the gold coast and PA hospital. I said I was fine and the previous scan from the year before said I could go 2 yearly but he still made me go thank fuck for that so yes he’s the best for sure. Now getting back to you love. - Hi there @JJ70 That is so awesome and I love the song well done love. I never had a bell to ring at Redcliffe where I had my trestment and so many of you have! I think it’s a fab idea! And I love that skirt! And they are beautiful flowers. What a lovely hubby you have. I have an awesome one too and I’m very lucky. We will have our 25th wedding anniversary in September and like @kmakm I haven’t taken mine back to the shop either. He has been through so much over the past two years his brother also has a quad bike accident 6 months prior to my diagnosis that left his brother with a brain injury then I got diagnosed so he is a trooper that’s for sure. So supportive and loving. Well done again love. Margie xx

- @JJ70 Mine is so wonderful in so many ways, but rarely on the thoughtful gift/gesture front. Still, 19 years later I still haven't taken him back to shop for exchange!

Having said that this bouquet was amaze balls!! Bloody huge and full of my favourites...natives. He really hit the target with these and he had hinted of an end of chemo surprise...so was sort of waiting for something yesterday (and apparently there is still more to come too)
