Yay for finishing, it is a wonderful feeling to not have that daily appointment to work around. I was really tired for about a month after finishing, so go easy for a while.
Once your skin starts to heal it heals really quickly. But it may actually get a little worse for a week or so after you finish. The pain can take a while to settle. Mine is finally getting really good for sleeping etc now. It is 5 months but I had fairly extensive radio to the chest wall, under arm and neck. So the pain I had was internal not skin related. The skin heals within a month I found. You have got to be careful of rubbing friction from bra and clothing for a liitle while.
I hope that you find tamoxifen ok. I was a bit anxious about taking it and experienced some nausea at first but this settled really quickly. Other than that the big differences for me are slower hair growth and much dryer skin. I find exercise helps to reduce the hot flushes and any stiffness of joints.
Congratulations on finishing treatment and I hope things slowly come good for you as find your 'new normal'. Just like treatment, take it one step at a time. Your body has been through a lot in the 10 months so be kind to it while you recover.
