Last Chemo:)

hi holly, well i know what you mean, feeling happy about finishing chemo, but also a bit scared i was the same, i think while we are having treatment we feel people are looking after us, also i was ill with chemo and was worried about radio, but it was fine for me, i was told to shower only with sorbalene, and then use it on my breast, i did this and all was well burn wise, the side effects really just kicked in after week 3  (i had 6 weeks) and that was only a bit of tiredness, when this came on i had a lie down for 1/2 hour and seemed to come good, so maybe you could time your sessions as lat as possible, then you will be able to sleep it off overnight. The good thing is it takes you longer to get dressed and undressed than it does the treatment, so hardly any time is spent at the hospital, if you stay down there, maybe you could meet up with some of the girls from here for a coffee if you are going to be on your own. let us know how you are going, hope all goes well. at least you will be on the last lap of treatment...
