Last chemo woooohooo

Hi Ladies

i haven't been on for a while but i still try to keep up with everyones news. Well it has come to the time when i will have my last ( 7th) chemo next tuesday.

To tell you the truth i never thought this day would come. It has been a rough ride but it has amazed me that i have gotten through this crappy time.

I have spoken to my oncologist and he was happy to report that my tumour has shrunk to a third of its original size so this has been a great result.

My next step after a few weeks of rest is radiotherapy then a few more weeks of rest and my double mastectomy and reconstruction. I have to have a double as i have tested positive for BRCA 1 gene. Another bump in the road.

Overall i am feeling great and really looking forward to the next step in my recovery.

    Really enjoy the good stuff that comes your way .  I still have flashbacks about how ill I was on chemo but heh it is all behind me now and on Tuesday you will be able to say the same.  Good luck with your last chemo.  You have been very brave and need to be congratulated on this "achievement".     Well done to you Olga,

     I also remember how bad it was and still can't fathom how I did it and it seems so long ago so but you must celebrate the good and dont sweat the other.
