Last chemo done ??

Hope you are starting to feel heaps better after this last round. That first few days really suck - just the feeling of nausea is bad enough.  Yes I'm sure knowing you don't have to do another one makes a huge difference.  I am so excited that my last one is in two days - woohoo.  Don't pluck those brows that have clung on, if you are using a brow pencil at least you may have that little line to follow!  Sending fast hair growing vibes your way!  Definitely worth asking about Mepitel as apparently some people are getting good results from it.

This last cycle has been very different, just knowing I don't have to go thru it again has made a huge difference to my emotional response to side effects, every night I think tick, another day closer to feeling better, not ugh another day closer to doing it again, I'm miserable physically but happy, strange feeling!

My eye brows finally dropped yesterday, lol gosh tough little suckers waited until the very end, I have a few scraggly ones left not sure what to do with them, they look silly but don't want to pluck them lol

Ill ask about the mepital film might be worth a shot!

Congratulations on finishing your chemo!  I finish my last one this week (19/11).  Your story sounds similar to mine.  I then go onto radiation and hormone therapy also.  I hope you continue to post as you go thru next stages as it will be good to hear how you go.  Have you heard about Mepitel Film for radiation?  I have asked my radiologist to have it ready for me to try.

I'm like you with the hair.  Waiting in anticipation to see how it comes back (colour/curls?!).  My eyebrows are still holding out and even though I shaved my head after first chemo I've managed to keep some hair which is now growing!  We'll see how last chemo treats me with that.

Thanks guys! Exciting to think about hair, lol never thought I'd be so keen to see what it will look like. My eyebrows started dropping second last one, I currently have one and a half eye brows, lol either drop completely or start growing back now please, more likely this last one will knock them out, but lucky it's taken till the last one, less time for them to grow back!

I finished my Chemo on 11/11/15

My hair has come back Silver grey with a bit of a kink... Which is exciting after having straight hair. Worst part is My eyebrows decided to leave after the third week of my second type of Chemo.

But I am happy that chemo is over. Start 5 weeks of Radiation soon and finish on New Years Eve .

Wahoo!! Well done you. I too finished mine 11 days ago. My head has started to have a little gray fuzz on it. My girls are going to photograph it at regular intervals for our records. Should be interesting. ??

Fantastic news another step finished. Be prepared for your hair to be different. Mine came back silver grey and really curly at first. I found one of the biggest problems was why did it have to grow back in other places as well. Good luck with your radioxx
