Double MX with immediate free TRAM for me just over a week ago after being persuaded to have just a lumpectomy after my diagnosis last December.
I managed to get this done pretty fast after refusing to move ahead with the complete radiotherapy course.
Feel so good about this decision and all is going well. Healing is actually going better on the side that had a few radiotherapy treatments just a couple of months ago!
The relief for me is hugely to do with now not having the constant lumpiness and residual pain in my lumpectomy side. Cleavage looks good. Breasts look great in shape and can tell that they will look very natural after the final nipple and areola reconstruction is done :-)
