Hi, I am 43. Diagnosed in November, lumpectomy and sentinel node in December which came back positive. Waiting for full lymph removal in a few weeks and then wait and see.
I love reading everyone's...
Thanks again everyone,
I am 'looking forward' to this operation, waiting for the surgeon's Christmas break has been difficult.
I have found out how important it is to be positive, but also to be prepared for answers you don't want. I was given lots of 'positive re-inforcement' by several (4) medicos (ie: grade 1, caught early) and so was totally unprepared to find it in my lymph nodes. From now on I will ask for all possibilities, not best case scenario.
When I had my surgery a satellite node was found, also cancer. I would love to know anyone elses experience with this, it was taken out during surgery but I can't find out much info on these.
regards, Kylie
