Hi, I am 43. Diagnosed in November, lumpectomy and sentinel node in December which came back positive. Waiting for full lymph removal in a few weeks and then wait and see.

I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis...it is miserable which ever way you look at it! I was diagnosed in oct 2011 & had a mastectomy 10 days later, i am 37. But i was very fortunate as my sentinal node biopsy came back negative. It seems like yesterday I had my surgery & had to wait for my results...I think that is one of the hardest parts..,the not knowing. Like Leonie said, once you know what you are dealing with and what the plan is, you won't feel so unsure. Goodluck for your upcoming lymph surgery & results. We know how scared you are, but know that we are all here to listen.
