Hi there. I’m just about to commence Kadcyla too (after I finish radiation in three weeks time). I had 5 months of chemo and recently had a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. I was hoping to be on Herceptin alone for 12 months following surgery but the pathology results were less than ideal so the oncologist has suggested Kadcyla as a better option. So…. I can’t comment yet on the side effects of the Kadcyla, but everyone is assuring me it is considerably less taxing on the body. The oncologist biggest concern is ongoing nerve damage (as I had this with the Paclitaxel). Let us know how you get on.
