Just when I thought I was out of the Woods
Good Morning,
I hope everyone had a great Christmas, it's a year since I started this trip, beginning with Chemo the week before Christmas 2017. So after surgery and Radiation all was looking good, until I got my PET Scan Results in December and they had written nasty words like suspicious for metastatic lung disease. I have had a dreadful cold and a cough that won't go,so they did say it could be infection or lung scarring. I am off for a CT scan this morning oh Joy, the worst thing is that I really won't know anything till I have another scan in Feb,and they discuss the results. I am also having a break from Herception and Perjeta for 7 weeks. so I wondered if anyone else has had a spot on the lung, and what this really means. I will be doing my best to wiggle some information out of the radiologist, but I really hate waiting, anyway I am on holidays and its a beautiful day. Thanks for all your support over the year.

- Thanks so much you all make me feel so much better, its nice to know that a nasty green glow can just be an infection. the CT scan was okay today ,but unfortunately no hints. I will just have to wait. My next CT scan is on the 4th Feb and I see the Doctor on the 6th Feb, so I will let you know how it turns out. Meanwhile its time to have a glass of champagne, I hope you all have a wonderful New year xxxx

fingers crossed that it is the nasty infection that is slow to go away and nothing more! On a positive note isn't it great they are checking on you and making sure all is okay, it's just hard wondering and waiting, waiting
