I am also TNBC, and remember how scared I was looking ahead at treatment.
It is quite doable, so don't worry too much - you are already over the first big hurdle which is surgery. Chemo was not bad for me, and I hope will be the same for you - just take all the pre & post meds you are given - it is easier to prevent side effects than to fix them. Are you having a portacath? If so it will be your new best friend and makes giving the chemo so much easier for you. I also had radiation after chemo as a precaution - your oncologist will advise you if you need it which you may not! Take a good sized notebook with you everywhere to note appointments, symptoms, dates, reactions if any, etc.etc.
It might make you feel better to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel - I am back to full health 2 years after surgery and leading a very healthy life. You will too. Just take things one day at a time, and don't look too far ahead. You will get through this! Big hug. Michelle x
