Just one of those moments

So there I was prepped and ready for surgery, dressed in my gown. Laid down on the operating table and they ask me to sit up so that they can put the heart monitor on my back - the whole operating theatre gasp and then fall around laughing - guess who forgot to remove her bra for her second re-excision! How silly did I feel. The look on my surgeon's face was priceless especially as the nurses struggled to get said bra off me and over the drip line. Definitely one of those Sue moments!

    That's hilarious! You've bought a huge smile to my face. If nothing else it would have broken the tension. Hope all went well with the surgery. Karen xox

    Yes, I can laugh now but I was sooo embarrassed.  Thinking about it yesterday, I realised that I actually took my bra off and then put it back on before donning the gown.  Think I am so use to "wearing a bra" 24 hours a day that I did it without thinking!  But in reality, it was probably stress.

    I know that shouldn't be funny , but you know what sometimes all you can do is laugh. Hope your surgery went well take care
