  • I can totally relate. Had my phyllodes removed in July 11 and told that i would have more chance of getting breast cancer than it coming back. I have not have a clear u/s or mammo since. First post op 6 mnth check finding what they told me to be fat. Then the next check finding the fat had 'grown'. So more surgery for two tumors in Aug 12.Both came back as fibros, but one was directly over the original op site, so i am glad it was taken out. Last check found more lesions.... but apparently that is a good result! might be time for a new doctor.
  • Hi Jane,

Hope you are well. Have you had your surgery? I cannot believe that you were told that phyllodes never appears again in the same place as there is at least a 25% chance of reoccurance.... Glad that you found this site useful. Please feel free to post in any of the phyllodes groups or blogs, emails or ask any questions or just write to get things out of your head. Would love to hear how you are doing. Best wishes Katie.
