It's started!

Hi Teresea, I guess I've never been the sort of person that wears hats or scarves or that sort of thing. I just don't feel comfortable in them. Although as someone else has said, I agree that some women look fantastic in them. But the wig was the most desirable route for me.  I did lose my hair in the middle of a Melbourne winter though. Now that the weather is warming up down here it might be less comfortable to wear on hot days.  It is terrific that you have had an offer of some wigs from a friend. While some people don't respond well to our situation I've found others, like your FB friend, surprise us with their generosity.

As for my hair, well it's getting there. I've always had longish hair and a fringe so I feel quite naked with very short hair that exposes all of my forehead. I probably could go without the wig now if I was a bit braver. Just gotta be patient I suppose. Take care, Janet. :)
