It's started!
I had almost started to make myself believe that I might not lose my hair after all...how silly! Even after a couple of beautiful people on this site shared their experiences I still hoped I wouldn'...
Hi Bel, Yes I find the website tricky too! All these different posts to other people on my blog and I don't know how to find new posts! Oh well...biyt more playing around and figuring it out I guess.
My Mum had a breast off as well and she showed me her "scar" when I was a very impressionable teenager. What they had done to her was disgusting. They took everything, right down to her chest wall and all her lymph nodes. Then proceeded to burn her with massive amounts of radiation from her neck to her waist! It was horrible. We can be so thankful that the medical profession has come so very far and we don't have to suffer such drastic treatment. Of course seeing this has left me with a real fear of losing a breast. Not a rational viewpoint at all I know. Sadly I lost her in 2007.
I don't quite know what to say to you about the way you feel about your breasts. Again I think if we haven't had to deal with something ourselves it is hard to imagine another's feelings. So...I hope you don't need to lose them, because that would be for a terrible reason, but if they bother you maybe look into a reduction.
I'm so glad you have your parents coming to stay with you. It will make it all so much easier. Hang in there chicken...I'm here if you need me. ps. you can send me private messages too if you'd like.
love and hugs, Teresa xx
