I don't know what I would do sometimes without my on-line friends. I get a boost when I'm down, and caring when I need it. Also big reminders too! All good. You were lucky to have friends that offered to shave as well. My friends, who have all been great at the beginning, are sort of falling away a bit. I know and understand that they have busy lives, and new loves and dreams of their own that they are busy pursuing, but I would have liked them with me for the head shaving bit. I think one friend may be able to make it and at least I have my two beautiful sons who are going to be with me for it.( One friend, when I originally asked if they would come to support me, even suggested what day would suit them! It's a funny thing but the timing of our hair falling out doesn't depend on waiting for a particular date...it does it own thing!)
