Hi Laura Maria,
I hope your treatment went well yesterday and that you have been able to enjoy Valentine's Day? :)
The above suggestions are great! I agree with them all, especially the iPad / phone, magazines, diary (I love writing to-do-lists!), sparkling mineral water, boomerang shape pillow and I always had a loved one with me (either my husband, mum, dad, sister, best friend). Whilst I didn't enjoy going through chemo it was so special sitting at each session and chatting for 3 hours straight. I loved it! They also drove me home as I often felt quite bloated (from all of the drugs) and very tired.
Another couple of little tips for you: we kept a calendar at home and wrote my treatment dates on it. As each treatment would get crossed off, it was a celebration.... 1 down 5 to go, 2 down 4 to go, 3 down 3 to go! I also made sure that each week I had something to look forward to. It could be as simple as my Mum coming over for a coffee or even something like having a pedicure.
Thinking of you
