Yep, Kath, my mistake, which is why these things need to be checked with medical teams. I took the sleepers as well but for different reasons.

@Zoffiel Claratyne is loratadine an anthistimine and available over the counter.  Lorazepam is a sedative medication not unlike valium or temazepam that needs a script. Simple error but very different medications. Kath x

If you are getting a Neulasta shot please ask about taking Claratyne ( lorazepam ) to help with the bone pain. It helps and it's safe and it's over the counter. Though, of course, you should OK it with your onc. One a Day for seven days starting the day before chemo. It's been tested in the UK, is standard practice in some parts of Oz and has never been investigated in others.
That $1 a day pill made such a difference for me.

Oh @Piccme how wrong I was...my bones have ached since yesterday...my taste buds are non existent...worse than when I was on a/c...how can something be better but worse at the same time...thank you for checking in with me

Hi @Hendrix, just checking in to see how you are going. I hope things are still ok and you haven't gone down hill with the horrible docetaxel. 

Hi @Hendrix, I did 3 weekly Fec x3 then 3 weekly Dosetaxol x3. I had problems with nausea and heartburn and diarrhoea with the fec but the dosetaxol caused severe nerve bone and muscle pain that hit each time from day 3 post chemo and lasted for a week. The second cycle I had to have the steroids at a higher dose for a bit longer and additional pain relief. My lips mouth and tongue also went numb on dosetaxol. I also had Neulasta after each chemo from the second one on. I reckon just make the most of feeling well while you do. Everyone's different and you might just be lucky and not get to many side effects, Go You!

Chemo is different for everyone. I had Taxol after AC and I didn't really have any day to day issues, apart from fatigue and neuropathy. I was still able to work 4 days a week.

Sorry,can't put'joyful experience' in the same sentence as chemo and radiation.I just made sure I bought myself presents each week and had some fun outings to look forward to.Its just a really crap time that goes on for ages - what can I say. You'll meet wonderful people along the way and do a lot of soul searching/ relook at your life- so I guess some good things come out of this crap journey.

@TonyaM oh I struggle with hot flushes now..I'm so looking forward to tamoxifen..not!! After chemo radiation any joyful experiences with this? Before I start tamoxifen 
@Piccme you make A/C sound pleasant in comparison...I'm going to make the most of the next four days...thank you for been honest and we all have our F*** days...sending you lots of F**** and hugs
