Thank goodness for a sense of humour hey. Yours sounds like its a great one. It's so frustrating waiting and unfortunately we all do a lot of that on this journey. I even wrote a poem about it. If you haven't already seen it, I think you'd like a post on "silly things people have said" (post link

Deanne and Jody are right, don't google too much, it can really do your head in. Stick to the recommended sites like this one and the Cancer Council. You should get a lot of info from these. Ask you medical staff too about what are some good sites.
Gee it really stinks about your job being so insecure right now and that's the last thing you want. But I know what that feels like. Mid last year I had to go for my own job as the uni was restructuring and some admin jobs were set to go. Fortunately I was successful but the stress was enormous. I couldn't afford to be out of work. But I've since learned that it's not worth stressing so much and that things don't matter as much as your health.
Keep smiling and feed that wonderful sense of humour. It will stand you in good stead. Don't stress too much :)
