Iodine contrast

Sorry everyone to take up so much time but trying to think things thru.I had iodine contrast injected into my left breast March 14 and still have a blue nipple Has anyone else experienced the same ?.Does anyone know how long this dye should be there? Am concerned as that nipple is now inverted and the same breast is quite sore.Am having mammogram/ultra sound and needle biopsy Monday.

    Thankyou @Hopes_and_Dreams feel a bit better knowing I'm not the only one with a blue breast still - will wait and see what happens

    Hello @Romla,  I had my mastectomy and contrast dye done 1 August 16 and I still have 3 blue circles on my breast 13 months later.  They are fading but still visible and look more like natural blue veins now.   Wishing you all the best with your investigations on Monday.  Please let us know how you get on.   Jane xx
