Happy Birthday Stella for Sunday and welcome to BCNA, As Sarah said in her post above this site is for everyone. I am so sorry that you have been suffering from Polio since you were 10 and now breast cancer. You have been dealt a really rough deal. You didn't mention what type of breast cancer you have ? It might help mentioning it as there are so many really lovely ladies on here that have advanced breast cancer too.
I am so sad that the treatments offered might not have been of any value to you. It doesn't seem very fair does it? Put in the same situation i am not sure what i would do. The island you live on sounds as though it is a beautiful place to relax and lap up that fresh ocean breeze.
Stella, my cancer was invasive ductal and was caught before it spread hopefully! On this site it doesn't matter what type or grade of BC you have as we are all here for the same reason which is to find some compassionate people who know what you are feeling and can offer some words of wisdom and support. I hope you feel comfortable to come and talk with us all because we are a caring mob.
