Introducing myself

Hi my name is Jasmyne Archer. I was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive ductal cancer at the age of 28. I was diagnosed 5/12/12 what a great time. I have family history of breast cancer knowing my mum had it twice. Never thought I would ever get it had my regular check up in July 2012 nothing there then in dec I was scratching and felt a lump and bam I have cancer. Had a lumpectomy a week later followed by a left side mastectomy. Then on to the port cath insertion oh I love my Porta cath followed by 6 months of chemo and then radiation for 5 weeks after that, then home for a couple of weeks and back and had a right side mastectomy. What a year and what a long 10 months of my life. I hopefully cleared all the cancer there is and now start back on track to a normal life and watch my 4 ur old grow to be a wonderful lady.
