Interview

Hi lovely ladies. I'm doing and interview with one onf my industry magazines later this month about the importance of taking time out for our health check appointments and how, when diagnosed with such a terrible disease, how our employers can make such a difference to our ongoing daily battles. hopefully it will get published and if so I will be sure to share (hoping a makeover is part of the deal) :) BCNA please don't forget about Qld we seem to be off the radar for the organised events.

    thanks for your message. It's the insurance news, I know it's gone to publishing but not sure if it will be used/or when, probably only when I get a call from the photographer will I know it's defiantly going ahead. I definately want to hold an event here at tamborine mountain, I've already spoke to the police, council and national parks about doing a sponsored walk which will incorporate the local rainforest walks. some of the local businesses have already offered to donate meals etc to raffle off. We are thinking of September 2015 as I'm still recovering etc etc and there will be a lot of planning and organising to do.

    Hello Tina,

    Well done on doing the interview - media isn't easy so congratulations! It's great that you are willing to share your story to help raise awareness.

    What magazine will it be published in & when?  We'd love to see a copy when it comes out.

    We definitely hope to get back to Qld soon - we had information forums in Mount Isa and Brisbane last year.

    Of course we'd be more than happy to help you hold your own event in your local area - let us know if that is something you would be interested in.
