Interesting Discussion with receptionist when booking Mammogram & ultrasound 12 month check up
I am due my '12 month since detection' mammogram & ultrasound checkup - and rang the radiology centre that I prefer to use (rather than the Taree one that didn't pick up my tumours, even with the loca...
WOW!! VERY INTERESTING ..... it seems that the receptionist was right!!
When I went for my checkup last Friday, the Ultrasound lady came in & explained that it was too soon since my previous 3D mammogram to have another one, so would only go with the Ultrasound!
She explained that she didn't want me to have any more radiation than I already had ..... so tried to contact my Rad Onc to see if she still wanted both MG & US .... but as she couldn't get an answer, just went with the US at this point in time!
I see my GP tomorrow for the report on the US.
