Instant Menopause
I had a moment today when I stopped and thought "Who the hell are you?" as I cried all the way home. I found myself today flipping out over a situation that before this happened, I would have sworn over and laughed about, while driving my car. Instead, I felt real panic, and behaved so differently to my norm, and then I felt embarassed. Its a tricky story to describe, it was related to driving my car, and getting into an awkward situation behind a reversing bus......any-way it wasnt that big a deal....but I totally lost my sense of humour. I rang my Dad and he said that my Mum had been like that when she went through Menopause. Trust him to be the one who brought that up! (smile). Mum probably went through instant Menopause too when she had her BC at 55, she is now over 70. I am finding I lose the plot when Im tired too, and have to have an afternoon nap. Its crazy and a little unnerving as I dont want to be all over the place. I am trying to relax and chill before Radiation starts, and obviously cant cope with situations the same as I did before. Any-one else finding they are all over the place? (smile) Bel

Stayed at New Norfolk, in Southern Tasmania, at the Junction Motel..then travelled to Bothwell, (top photo ) and then to the East Coast ( bottom photo ) of Tasmania, then home. It was lovely and peaceful to see the scenery and new faces; also caught up with a nice lady I met at the recent BC Conference in Launceston, in March this year. Best wishes to all those having treatment at present.
