Had a check up with the oncologist today and apparantly last round my blood count went REALLY low - so the day after my chemo this round I have to give myself an injection - something about neutrophi...

Hi Marg the same thing happened to me.I also had a stint in hopsital because of very low neurofils they were way down a week on the super juice & I was great again. I also had to have an injection after each chemo which I could have given myself (even though I hate needles too!!) the needle isn't like a propper needle it's just sort of pushing a pen against your stomach. I have the sweetest GP & he insisted on doing it so he could just "keep an eye on things". I finished my chemo in June last year & just finished my herceptin in March looking forward to getting my life back on track. This sight is wonderful that you can get lots of info from ladies that have also experienced what your going through & really care,so you don't feel so much alone.
