Hi Pam, yes I rang the surgeon's rooms today and explained my concerns. The message came back that yes it would be the catheter from the port that I can feel.
The thing that frustrates me is from the day it was inserted I have felt discomfort and pain. It hurts when i touch the port and I have said previously and will say it again my right side of the chest up to the collar bone hurts. I have 12 more Herceptin to get through and I'm starting to think quality of life is better than finding a vein every three weeks. Cheryle :)
