IMPLANTS

 Had  expanders put in 3 weeks ago still very sore. Lot more painful than I thought they would be.

My surgeon uses Silimed implants . There was an article in the paper a few weeks ago , that a hospital in Britian has banned them as they can case cancer.  In the article one plastic surgeon in Australia said he has stopped using them until he is satsfied they are safe. Showed this article to my Dr and they she is still using them as she said they are approved and no evidence that they are not safe. I have decided not to use them and when I see her next week will let her know. Do not want to put myself at risk.

Has anyone read any information on Silimed  implants?.
