Imaging Charges
So I had an MRI done that was bulked billed at Monash Clayton. Received a disk. The Dr wants the films as doesn’t trust the disk opening at time of surgery. So now I pay $150 for films! Not to menti...
I discovered that there are several places that bulk bill. Due to them having a full license to operate. Not all imaging places have a full license some only part licensed so charge more. So I shop around. You don’t have to go to the imaging place on the referral. The imaging places will take any referral.
I was sent there so I could get bulk billed but they now charge extra for the films it seems as opposed to the free disk which may not open on the Dr’s computer unless he has an account with the imaging provider and can log into their portal to view the scans online. But not all Dr’s can do that either as they are not all computer savvy they tell me! Lol
