Imagined fear and palpitations

Good morning ladies,

Am experiencing the blackened toe nail from AC.

Began Taxol Christmas Eve and am beginning to feel resentful about having to use potions, creams etc.

I don't like being forced by anyone/thing to do something and yet my nails are forcing me to apply the strengthening hand & nail lotion.

I complained to the doctor about my feet yesterday as I feel they're neglected too.

She said they looked alright, to use eulactol heel balm twice a day.

I have done this mornings creams, using Vaseline Intensive Care hand & nail lotion as well as the eulactol.

I have got  another nail strengthener to paint on like polish, if needed. By Cutex a complete kit with nail hardener included. Seems a bit fiddly with my clumsiness.

Will do them again tonight and protect my nails as best I can.

Is it alright to have socks on after applying balm and lotions?

Don't want to create any  sort of fungal muck by having socks(cotton) on. Have canestan cream if need be.

We're like living pharmacy stores aren't we?

Have been having palpitations with the thought of going to the Day Unit tomorrow for bloods and no transport or driver to take me.

Expecting the worse before the day has even begun. Will snap out of it and just come back to now.

Now is peaceful and serene.

Lunch is calling me.

  • Dear Deanne,

It is okay now as I am using a completely different foot cream, Neat Feet, which works. Am wearing the cotton socks and using the paint on nail nourisher and cuticle oil with quick drying top coat, on finger and toe nails.

Had my 3rd dose of Taxol today and wish the world would just go away and leave me alone.

I switched my home over to Indigenous Housing, which is still smothered by Dpt Housing. Dpt Housing are insisting that I owe them monies, which I don't as I have been paying rent to Aboriginal Housing Office all along. AHO are still Dpt HOusing, so I just hang up on the harassers.

They must not have a note on my file, stating I am having chemo at the moment. I am tired of repeating myself to brainless public servants who feel they can harangue me over unnecessary crap. I have told them on numerous occassions that I am having chemo and recovering from cancer. Makes no difference.:(

I am feeling keen to get legal representation and take legal action against them.

This week went pear shaped right from MOnday as the Sydney care agency driving me to the hospital failed to put my appointment and transport needs into their data base. :(

I was meant to have my bloods done on MOnday at 8.30am then go to physiotherapy at 11.30am, whilst still at the hospital. :) Seemed really logical to me. :) Not the case.

No-one turned up. I phoned the agency who said, " No you're not booked in for transport today".

I know that the lady from my indigenous agency had told the agency about my bloods and physio appointments.

I believed her. This Sydney care agency implied Andrea had lied to me and hadn't told them about my needing a driver to take me.

Later on, it was discovered and admitted that Andrea had told the agency about my appointments and the agency had stuffed up.

I then had to rearrange my physio appointment to another time and didn't have my bloods done until the afternoon, 12.30pm. :) Hooray we made it.

I am no longer able to trust the person(Male) who has blundered and mucked up my appointments more times than I can recall. I blew my stack with him, having to place the phone on the bed and stand 1.5m back away from the phone whilst letting go some steam.

Poor Ken. He just doesn't get it that when I have appointments I need to keep them. The agency ESP doesn't understand so much either.

I have the indigenous women to turn to at the indigenous care agency, as they do what they say they are going to do. I can trust them with my life and yet in our culture, because I am older, I don't need to associate with or even speak with any men anymore. Yayy!!!

We will be using another Just Better Care agency now rather than ESP. Our wires got crossed somehow, but it is all well now. :)

    Am back to peace. <3

My beautiful, intelligent, compassionate, Dr Tristan Barnes, is finishing as my chemo doctor's registrar and today was my last time to see her. :) Bit sad:( Tristan told me the Taxol would be more gentle on my body than the AC and this is complete truth. My arm and body is not aching so badly now.

I also had Vanessa Benicky from Optimal Intimates come to my home to fit my new prosthetic and bras yesterday. The great news is I am wearing a full sized prosthetic and can put it into my Berlei bra. It is so comfortable after Vanessa advised me on how to wear my bras properly. Vanessa is so amazing and my pain, muscular from unsupported strain, has disappeared now, with no need for pain killers at all. :)

That's the story of Love, that's the glory of love, to quote the Divine Miss M. :) Vanessa's first words to me when arriving at my home to fit me was, "I love my work!" Please if you need a Divine Miss V to take away pain, contact her on 0418408005. Vanessa is an angel sent from our protective, loving angels to help ease the trauma of our experience. Vanessa knows how to make everything better just by her compassion and empathy.

Best lady to help with prosthetics and bras that actually fit properly. No guessing as her expertise tells her. Vanessa knows boobs and breasts or even no breasts better than anyone else in NSW, maybe even Australia. Her service is private and mobile. She is so gorgeous, coming from her heart and radiant loving self.

Will be glad when all the problems over my housing transfer has been sorted out but my client service officer is unwell today, so will probably hear from him tomorrow. He'll get the mess sorted out for me. Once and for all.

He gets me and I really like him as he stands in integrity, keeping his word and doing as he says he will. :)

The spiritual stillness has come upon me now.

Thanks for reading and listening. My potassium was low today but I still had the Taxol.

Need more banana splits as Narelle says.:) Yummy so fattening with the icecream and whipped cream, nuts, chocolate topping, cherry, banana(potassium).

I normally just have banana on morning cereal or with maple syrup on buttercup pancakes and vanilla icecream. :) I worry about each gram I gain, it will take 1 mth to lose. I love pancakes with banana and syrup and icecream though. So decadent.

Blessings of Divine Love and Light to you all, especially Deanne and the lovelies who read and empathise.

Always with gratitude and prayers of healing L&L. <3 <3 <3 :) Shoonyananda

  • I remember my kitchen counter slowly being overtaken by a growing supply of medications, potions and creams to counteract the chemo side effects and even the side effects of each other (pain relief meds caused constipation, so then needed stuff for that etc). I am sure that cotton socks would be good to wear after applying your foot cream, they would probably help to keep the moisture going in. I found using the nail hardner helped my nails. I also wore ice gloves while having my chemo. These were supplied where I had my chemo and helped to prevent damage to nails. I ended up with ridges on my nails but these are growing out now. Hope you manage your trip to the Day Unit ok tomorrow. Take care. Deanne xx
