Hello, thank you for your reply. I hadn't heard that my hormornes could go crazy because of the masectomy so that is a good tip off.
If I am told that the hormone treatment is only going to give me an extra 1% chance then I also wont do the treatment and this is the kind of statistic I want to know. I will try to get the oncologist to be specific and I might get a second opinion too.
I think because of my age even if I end taking the hormone treatment I'm not going to worry about fertility treatment, realistically for me it is unlikely that I will end up having a child. It was something I was coming to terms with before the diagnosis, but I will be able to get to grips with this.
I had a quick read of your profile (I hope that is ok not sure about etiquette on these sites) and I saw you had a masectomy too, how are you finding it. I found it really strange at first the sensation thing but I am starting to get a bit more used to it now. Thanks again
