I'm really really scared

Thank you so so much!  It is the unknown, it terrifies me.  So I'm trying to focus only on that things I DO know.  It's only been a few days but it's helping me so far.  I have a long road ahead.  I hope all is going very well for you and I'm so grateful for your message x

Thank you so much Jen.  I have the most amazing support already but you've hit the nail on the head with the word 'lonely'.  It's so lonely knowing that out of all the people I know, I'm the only one physically going through it.  It's so reassuring to know you're all here for me too and I hope so much to be a good support in return. x

Thank you so so much Nat!  I went for my app today and took my husband, the consultant was amazing and broke it all down for me.  I'm still scared like crazy but I feel more in control and more positive.  Do you mind me asking what stage of treatment you're at? x

Oh Maryrose thank you so much, just knowing I have your support means the world to me.  The consultant visit went well and has made me feel much more positive and in control.  I'm booked in for surgery x

Hi Mimmy, welcome to the network. That's such a shock when you get your diagnosis. Do you have friends and family who can support you during your treatment ? It's good to have people who can take you to appointments and treatments, as a support. I hope that you know soon what your treatment plan is so that you know what you need to do. Hi Mimmy welcome to the site, reading your blog reminded me about that same feeling I had 18 months ago. Try and take it one day at a time once you see the docs and they set you on a plan you might feel better, the unkown is always scary.
