I'm home!!!!!
Today I found out is going home day and I'm so happy. My drains had slowed down considerably and I was feeling good.
I feel the need to explain a little bit about the drain tube experience without giving away too much. It's a short and a little bit painful experience but most importantly you need to be prepared for the feeling. You can actually feel the tube coming out of you and it's surprisingly in quite a way. The pain is short and sweet but the feeling is really quite disconcerting. I wish I had of known that I would feel that odd sensation I would've been better prepared.
So happy to be home and get some fresh air and some sunshine and have already had a delightful nap in my own bed. Will keep up my blog over the following weeks especially in regard to what I'm capable of doing. I'm a bit of an exercise freak which is one of the things that was stressing me about my recovery. So for others like me I'll give you some idea on what I can do week by week.
More than happy to chat to anyone with questions
