I'M DONE.
After much thought, consideration, and a long chat with my chemo nurse, I have decided to ditch the last chemo. My body has had enough, and its telling me so. I weighed myself the other day, down ano...
Hi Gayle
I can't imagine the journey you have travelled so far but one thing I always say is trust your gut (after all it is attached to YOUR body). It was my gut feeling that got me the correct treatment for me so I say go for it. I believe the medical world won't give you a yes or no because quite frankly they do their best but they don't know. Like you have said there are no guarantees either way. So where does this leave you - with the one thing that is screaming at you your gut.
Surely if you are saying no to chemo now doesn't mean you can't have it in the future. That is if you feel your body can accept the challenge and you decide it is what you need.
So carry on with your plans, I read your whole blog and none of it sounded crazy. Infact it all sounded quite logical and reasonable to me.
All the very best to you and your skinny little toosh!
