I'M DONE.
After much thought, consideration, and a long chat with my chemo nurse, I have decided to ditch the last chemo. My body has had enough, and its telling me so. I weighed myself the other day, down ano...
I can't blame you- you've had a REALLY bad time of it. I stopped my chemo too after a spell in isolation ward with no white cells.I felt the chemo might kill me long before cancer would. My oncologist told me that Tamoxifen would give me greater benefit anyway with my particular cancer. And some chemo is better than no chemo at all. So you and I have struck a compromise and we've done what we thought best for our bodies.I'm 2 years on now -so far so good. I have no regrets.Gayle, you will find radiation a walk in the park compared to chemo and what you've been through. You might be glowing like a hot plate and tired half way through but it's all doable. I hope you are feeling well soon so that you can walk on the beach and enjoy life again.
