I'm confused
Four years ago today I had the dreaded biopsy which confirmed my BC. Today I had to have a biopsy to check something seen on my US I had on Tuesday. They found something growing in my lymph nodes. Huh...
I may be wrong, but I thought an axillary clearance referred to lymph nodes in the armpit only. People have hundreds of lymph nodes in the body. I had eight or nine clearly swollen nodes and a further eight nodes were removed (17 in all). But I am not sure that was all of them, in the arm/breast area, just the ones that looked suspicious and the ones next to them. Here’s hoping there is no problem, all except one of my very suspicious looking nodes turned out to
