I'm baaaaaack!

Hi Dan, good to hear from you after so long - have wondered how you were travelling and hoping all was well.  Glad your 5 months of Taxol is over - RT is a breeze in comparison.  So glad your bone scan was clear - always that damn fear in the back of your mind that mets will appear - stomp on  it!!

We are all still here.  Like Mich, I have now finished.  3 months of Taxol plus 28 rads sessions - all over a week ago - slathering cream on for the tightness, but no real discomfort.  I am booked into hospital on Wednesday, too - for a hysterectomy - hopefully a laparascopic one - as a preventative measure.  What is your re-excision?  Are they taking more tissue?  After Wednesday, life starts again with no treatments.  Hard to imagine.  We have all come through this really well, and I feel so proud of us all.  Take care, and don't get too tired - Michelle x
