Hey jo Annie again,I felt old too. im 40 and had my left breast taken off.omg and then my hair fell out omg.all these things that seemed so horrendous.Now theyve put me into menopause (which they do depending on cancer type) so dont panic yet.I felt every way i was female was taken away. But im slowly adjusting and accepting what the medical team are doing for me and i know they must have some idea of what they are talking about.And like you reading this site, so many people have had their cancer return.I stopped getting on here for a while. i was getting scared but then i realised this is a lifeline to questions and answers and strategies for coping.Its such a relief to know there are others that have gone through exactly as we have.hooray for technology.
You will have a lot of issues and ups and downs fears and disbelief in what you are hearing.but we are all here to help the best we can, as you may do when you get further on. annie x
