Hi Chris I'm in the same boat Diagnosed with intermediate dcis in left breast with an invasive cell Or and pr positive her2 negative I too thought I had time to consider my options. I thought Had made a decision to have double mastectomy and was in a state of panic but surgeon told me to take my time to make the decision Went to gp and he said this is urgent and I think your decision is the right one That's when I had my breakdown day. I took a few days and calmed down and made my decision and tomorrow I go in for surgery I am scheduled for a sentinel node biopsy first then The surgeon is taking a large portion of my left breast including nipple and will reconstruct the breast Fingers crossed we don't find anything other than what has been diagnosed Good luck Chris with your decision making
