Hello,
I am going in to have double reconstruction under Dr Harvey Stern-he works out of RPAH and also Strathfield Private.
Both my oncologists recommended him and so did the RPA breast care nurse. He is very experience with this.
He said to me that until they see under the skin they can't say if I have to have DIEP or TRAM, depending on blood supply, veins etc.
I am having mine on 2nd July. feeling scared already....
